In the event that your pet requires emergency veterinary care, depend on our Emergency Transport service to get your pet to the nearest animal emergency hospital.

Handling an injured or large immobilized pet can be stressful, physically demanding and even at times dangerous due to the fact that injured animals may bite. Our experience with handling such cases allows us to transport your pet safely with the least amount of added stress for the pet as well as the owner.We will transport your pet in one of our specially customized vehicles equipped with special animal handling equipment.

Our emergency transport service is available 7 days a week during hours when your regular vet is closed, on weekends and holidays.

Minimum Service Call Fee - $65.00  

• Service call fee includes One-Way trip to the Chicago Veterinary Emergency Service hospital located at 3123 N. Clybourn Avenue, Chicago, IL 60618.
• Fee is based on service from Paws Around Chicago’s main service area.
• Please call for fees for service outside the main service area and transport service to other Animal Emergency clinics in the suburbs.

Additional Emergency Transport Service Fees

• Wait time for return trip - $65.00 hr (time begins at drop off site)
• Stretcher for large immobilized dogs - $15.00
• Additional person - $30.00
